getWITit is an IRS 501(c)3 registered tax-exempt organization defined by the getWITit Mission. As such, all policies must meet IRS expense guidelines and should help advance our Mission.
Privacy Policy
In summary: registrant contact information is NOT shared with third parties without your consent. Registrant information is primarily used to verify registration and notify you of similar events held by getWITit in the future. We may share your contact information with sponsors as well.
Collection of Information
Information You Provide to Us
We collect information you provide directly to us. For example, we collect information when you register for an event, fill out a form or otherwise communicate with us. The types of information we may collect include your email address, mail address and other contact or identifying information in order to register for our events. Sharing of Information
We do not share or sell your information to vendors or third parties. However for certain events you register for we do ask for your consent to share your contact information with sponsors who may wish to contact you regarding special promotions or discounts. If communications are sent from these sponsors, you will have the opportunity to “opt-out” by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in the email you receive.
Promotional Communications
We will periodically send you free newsletters and emails that directly promote our conferences, events and gatherings. When you receive newsletters or promotional communications from us, you may indicate a preference to stop receiving further communications from us – you will have the opportunity to “opt-out” by following the unsubscribe instructions provided in the email you receive. Despite your indicated email preferences, we may send you notices of any updates to our Terms of Service or Privacy Policy.
Sensitive Personal Information
getWITit Does not directly collect sensitive information such as credit card details or Social Security Number. All registrations and payments are exclusively done on the EventBrite platform.

Attendee List and Messaging
Other Attendees can view the profile information you supply, but will not have access to your personal email address, or any other contact information about you, unless you choose to explicitly provide it to them in your online posts, messages, meeting invitations, or another vehicle of your choice.
