Who we are

GetWITit is a non-profit organization, with the specific mission of addressing the declining number of women in the information systems and computing industries, through programs that promote awareness, address attrition, create opportunities to transition to tech, and preparation for leadership.

Our Vision

getWITit fosters an environment that inspires diverse thought within technology by building passionate communities to promote change. We aspire to cultivate local community engagement so that women can sustain, excel, and advance in technology careers.

Our Values

We believe in creating an inclusive community where all women feel welcomed,   valued, and empowered - regardless of their background, ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation.

The National Board

The getWITit National Board of Directors empowers local chapters to execute the organization’s mission and vision. It supports each getWITit chapter location while also preserving the organization’s public standing by ensuring accountability and the future integrity of the organization.
