Your Vote = Your Voice

The headlines of what women fought for 100 years ago was their ‘right to vote’. What they were really fighting for was their ‘right to voice’. A right to voice their opinion, to voice their thoughts, and to voice their influence on the future.

It is no different today in a business context. We need more voices at the table. We need to be purposeful in taking more perspectives into account. We need to work harder on how to help amplify the voices of others.

Our discussion will be just this…how to bring out your own voice and the voices of others.

*getWITit is a community-based organization. In past years, each chapter has held an in-person conference in their local community. Given the challenges we’ve all faced together in 2020, and current guidelines cautioning against large gatherings, our getWITit chapters have decided to collaborate on a single virtual conference this year. We look forward to seeing you all in person next year as we get back to local conferences.
